These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Lake Country Social ("the Platform"), operated for the Lake Country, Wisconsin community. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
You may not share your account with others.
You must provide accurate information when registering.

3. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree that:

Your content is accurate and not misleading.
You have the right to post any images or information you submit.
Your content does not violate any law or third-party rights.
Your content is not spam, offensive, harmful, or illegal.

All submitted listings are reviewed by administrators before being published. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or edit any content at our discretion. Reported content may be removed pending review.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Post false, fraudulent, or deceptive content.
Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
Use the Platform for illegal activities.
Attempt to access unauthorized data or systems.
Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission.

5. Memberships & Promotions

The Platform offers paid memberships and promoted listings. Payments are processed through our payment provider. Paid features are granted upon successful payment confirmation. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis until canceled. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the current billing period.

6. Refunds

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact us through the app's support channels for assistance.

7. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or compromise the integrity of the community. Suspended users retain browse-only access but cannot post, RSVP, or interact.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. This permanently removes your data and cannot be undone.

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, branding, and software are owned by Lake Country Social. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to display it on the Platform.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of listings. We are not liable for events or transactions arranged through the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lake Country Social is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
